Here is a Listing of the Missions Opportunities HUMC Supports:

2009 Missions Trips - A mission trip is an incredible way to share the love of Jesus addressing the real needs people have in their lives.  They provide a wonderful opportunity to develop a closer relationship with people from the church, to develop relationships with those who serve or work with, to experience the love of God through service, fellowship and worship.

New Orleans April 5 - April 9  This is a construction trip to help rebuild homes for people affected by Hurricane Katrina.  This trip is for 9th Graders and older.

Talanga, Honduras 2010 Mission Trip:  This is a partnership of ministry with the United Methodist Church of Honduras.  We will be helping to work on the construction of a new church for the Talanga Central UMC as well as provide a Vacation Bible School for Talanga Central UMC and Diez de Septiembre UMC.  The dates for this trip are June 20-27.  If you would like to become a team member, please call the church office at 794-2203 or email www.churchoffice@hahiraumc.com

American Red Cross Blood Drive - Help someone in our county through the blood drive held in the Parrott Annex throughout the year.  Next Blood Drive will be July 5 2009.

Pregnancy Support Clinic of Valdosta - We support this ministry through their annual fundraiser called Baby Boomerrang.  We have over 50 baby bottles that our church family is collecting their coins and dollar bills through Father's Day.  We will give everyone an update of the amount collected.  Later that week! 

Samaritan's Purse - Operation Christmas Child - An incredible ministry that sends shoeboxes with clothing items, toys, candy, coloring books, etc. to children around the world in their efforts to share the love of Christ to them.
